Interesting how often these 'evolutionary' takes are dystopian. Quite a contrast to the evolutionary utopias of transhumanism and 'extended mind' which see advances in communication as advances for humanity rather than retrograde compromises to our cognitive capacity! There are some readings on transhumanism in the MOOC for those that are interested - or tweet me for links. Nice example Chantelle. Interesting how often these ‘evolutionary’ takes are dystopian.
