How to experience (or understand) the agency of information in Culture & Learning? Become an external form or object, then explore the interactions of that external form or object? Nice idea, but maybe to ambitious in this instance? Or, locate an object or form and investigate that objects journey?

Hmmm… How to do this? Locate representations of that object, and try and understand the agency of that object within cultures / communities maybe!

All those lego bricks talking to each other… and talking to us. Lego bricks as a metaphor for possible learning objects (things)! The image above I think can be interpreted as a sea of available learning possibilities, being assembled and re-assembled. Agency in learning, being apparent, within the ability of learning, and learning ‘objects’ to act in the world – a sort of interpretation (or re-consideration) of cognosphere.

Thoughts on Final Assignment http://edc13.education.ed.ac.uk/phild/2013/03/23/thoughts-on-final-assignment/ http://edc13.education.ed.ac.uk/phild/2013/03/23/thoughts-on-final-assignment/#comments Sat, 23 Mar 2013 12:51:53 +0000 Phil Devine http://edc13.education.ed.ac.uk/phild/?p=1269 I think a lot of what we have looked at in #ededc naturally complements the direction I took in Learning Futures. So I’m considering investigating the opposite for #ededc final assignment (a little chiaroscuro / gestalt going on maybe), the identity and location of learner rather than teacher. This would ‘kind’ of cross all #ededc topics, but have main focus on learning (cultures). Could use a similar name, a variation on Babelfish?
