My very, very lo-fi representation of the blurring of boundaries between some of the binaries which Merchant (2007) discusses.
The birds, bees and butterflies are busy cross-fertilising between notions which seem immutable; often going about their business unnoticed while the tree branches get thicker and more immovable. The fruit of their efforts, however, is starting to grow organically in many directions.
